Admissions Requirements & Application Process

What are the bachelor's eligibility criteria?

To qualify for the Bachelor's degree program, you must have completed your final secondary school examinations and demonstrate English proficiency.

  • For high school seniors: You may apply conditionally, provided you obtain your final diploma.
As part of the application process, you will be required to submit your academic documents. Transcripts must include all courses taken and grades achieved.
Once you graduate, you will need to provide us with your results and a copy of your diploma as soon as you receive them.

  • For high school graduates: Only diplomas earned within the past two years are accepted. For example, for 2025 admission, only diplomas from 2025, 2024, or 2023 will be considered.

Courses are primarily delivered in English, with some content taught in French. A minimum proficiency level in English is therefore required.

Application Process

What is the bachelor's application process?

KEY DATES

  • Online application period: December 15, 2024, to April 21, 2025.

All of the documents listed below must be uploaded in the specific section.

We accept documents in French, English or Arabic.

  • Copy of passport or identification document
  • Copy of all available school transcripts from the last three years of high school (For students coming from the Moroccan schools: Please submit the overall transcript of the 3 years of high school)
  • Diploma or proof of graduation (You will need to upload this document as soon as available)

Good to know:

Please note that if you still need to pass some exams, you can already start your application. Even though some documents are missing, you only need to fill in your email address and upload the other items.

Once all documents are submitted, selected applicants will be invited to complete online assessments as part of the second stage of our admissions process.

This assessment is specifically designed to evaluate candidates' critical thinking and analytical skills, as well as their knowledge and understanding of the dynamic and ever-evolving world of business within the hospitality industry. It serves as an important tool in identifying motivated candidates who possess the skills and mindset necessary to excel in our program.

After a positive evaluation of your application and the online tests, you will be invited to participate in additional written and oral tests.

These tests will further showcase how well your skills and motivation align with the SHBM bachelor's program, as well as the school's mindset and values.

The oral interview will take place with an international panel from diverse backgrounds: Academia, Hospitality industry, Hospitality entrepreneurs, Business coach, UM6P and SBM members.

It is not a test of your hospitality knowledge. The aim is to assess your motivation and your potential. We will ask you to tell us about your experience and your expectations. Our questions will focus, for example, on any summer jobs you may have had, your extracurricular activities, and your future career expectations.

Following the interview, we will evaluate your complete application and make a final decision.

You will receive your final decision within two-weeks of your online/onsite interview.

Financial Aid

What kind of financial support is available?

A scholarship system allows, mainly through the OCP Foundation, to support talented students who do not have the necessary financial resources. These grants can cover part or all of the cost of accommodation and meals, as well as tuition fees.

Academic scholarships are based on academic excellence and awarded based on your results at the entrance exams. They are intended to cover all or part of your tuition fees for the duration of your studies.

Good to know:
  • Scholarships and financial aid can be combined.
  • Obtaining a scholarship involves attending classes. Except in special cases, scholarships are suspended if you repeat a term.
Financial aid is granted annually by the Scholarship Committee on the basis of social criteria, depending on the family's income and expenses. They are intended to cover all or part of the cost of accommodation and meals, as well as tuition fees not covered by a scholarship.

To find out if you are eligible, submit an application with supporting documents to the Scholarships Committee.

Good to know:
  • Scholarships and financial aid can be combined.
  • Obtaining a grant requires attendance at classes. Except in special cases, grants are suspended in case of repeating a term.

Our Bachelor program is a full time program and therefore allows little flexibility for a side job.

However, there are various part-time student job opportunities on- and off-campus.

Contact our admissions team to get more information.

Today, paid internships are more common than unpaid ones. The vast majority of interns working in for-profit organisations must be paid at least the applicable minimum wage and overtime.

By choosing your internship carefully, whether in Morocco or internationally, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience while earning a living.
