You are talented and want tourism and hospitality to be a driving force in Africa?
You may be the ideal candidate to join us!
Admissions Requirements & Application Process
To access our Bachelor degree program, you must have successfully completed your final secondary school examinations and demonstrate english proficiency.
You must have passed a secondary school graduation exam.
Good to know: If you are in your final year of secondary school, you can apply for admission subject to your final diploma. You will need to provide us with your results and a copy of your diploma as soon as you receive them.
Transcripts must show the courses you took and the grades you received.
We will select candidates with grades well above the minimum required and excellent marks in specific subjects that you will need to succeed at SHBM.
A preparatory year, including a 6-months industry internship is required before starting the Bachelor program.
Good to know:
This preparatory year is optional for students who have proof of the necessary prerequisites: at least 400 hours of practical experience in hospitality and practical service knowledge according to the course content of semester 1.
We will evaluate the relevance of these 400 hours based on the course content, the institution where the practical experience was undertaken as well as a specific on-site interview.
You must be at least 18 years old at the beginning of the program.
17-year-old students who will turn 18 during their first study year will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

All of the documents listed below must be uploaded in the specific section.
We accept documents in French, English or Arabic.
* Once all documents are submitted, you will be asked to take an online test of comprehension and analytical skills.
Good to know:
Please note that if you still need to pass some exams, you can already start your application. Even though some documents are missing, you only need to fill in your email address and upload the other items.
Once you have submitted your initial application, we will contact you within 2 or 3 weeks with a decision on the next phase which is the on-campus admissions test.
Upon a positive evaluation of your application by our admissions team, you will receive an invitation to participate in the SHBM admission assessment. The assessment consists of 5 written tests and one oral interview.
The written tests include:
- English language test
- French language test
- General knowledge test (this test assesses your intellectual curiosity and your knowledge of significant events, iconic landmarks and famous people in the music and sporting worlds etc.)
- Logic test
- An adherence test to SHBM values
You will then be invited to an oral assessment interview.
The interview is not a test of your hospitality knowledge. The aim is to assess your motivation and your potential. We will ask you to tell us about your experience and your expectations. Our questions will focus, for example, on any summer jobs you may have had, your extracurricular activities and your future career expectations.
Following the interview, we will evaluate your complete application and make a final decision.
You will receive your final decision within two-weeks of your online/onsite interview.

Compare the cost of living in Morocco
A scholarship system allows, mainly through the OCP Foundation, to support talented students who do not have the necessary financial resources. These grants can cover part or all of the cost of accommodation and meals, as well as tuition fees.
Our Bachelor program is a full time program and therefore allows little flexibility for a side job.
However, there are various part-time student job opportunities on- and off-campus.
Contact our admissions team to get more information.
Today, paid internships are more common than unpaid ones. The vast majority of interns working in for-profit organisations must be paid at least the applicable minimum wage and overtime.
By choosing your internship carefully, whether in Morocco or internationally, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience while earning a living.
