The UM6P campus was designed by the world-renowned architects Ricardo Bofill and Elie Mouyal, focusing on sustainable development and local materials.

Located in the heart of Ben Guerir’s Green City Mohammed VI, just 45 minutes from Marrakech and 2 hours from Casablanca, the campus extends over 17 hectares of inspiring space. More than a place to study, it is an environment where innovation, learning, and community life come together.

Where do UM6P students live?

UM6P is one of the only residential universities in Morocco, offering a comfortable and secure living environment, designed to support your studies, research, and personal development.

Housing is organized in apartments of four private bedrooms, each furnished and equipped with its own bathroom. A shared living room with a kitchenette, high-speed internet, and a phone line is available in every apartment.

Residences also feature common areas with TV and games (billiards, foosball, ping-pong), laundry facilities, and rooms adapted for students with reduced mobility. Separate buildings are provided for male and female students, with 24-hour security for peace of mind.

Campus Restaurants & Cafeteria

At UM6P, students have access to a wide range of dining options.

  • University Restaurant – The central meeting place for students, professors, and staff across all UM6P schools. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a variety of balanced menus, it is open throughout the day to fit your schedule.

  • University Cafeteria – Perfect for a coffee break or a snack between classes, offering both hot and cold drinks as well as quick bites.

  • Food Courts – Spread across campus, they provide even more variety, ensuring there’s always something to suit your taste and timing.

Rihla is SHBM’s self-service restaurant, designed as a vibrant campus dining hub where everyday meals become a journey of flavors. With seasonal creations, international dishes, and live stations, it blends freshness, diversity, and efficiency in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. More than a cafeteria, Rihla is a space of connection and discovery.

1. Is SHBM recognized by the Moroccan State?
 

Yes. SHBM operates under Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P), officially recognized under Moroccan Higher Education Law n° 01.00.

  • The Bachelor’s program is officially accredited by the Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation.
  • As a UM6P degree, it is considered a state-recognized diploma.

SHBM is the only school in Morocco certified by EHL (Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne), one of the world’s leading hospitality management institutions, and it's bachelor program follows international academic standards aligned with EHL.
